Kyle Fest! Biggest freeride wake fest in the Midwest! We're bigger and better than ever with this year being our 5th annual. What makes Kyle Fest so great is the riding conditions and the "home base" location of WaterStreet Bar & Grill. The event is a weekend full of boarding, camping, and entertainment, on the Kaskaskia River, which is endless pure butter. The river is 20 ft deep shore to shore, narrow (no cross waves going up and down river), lots of turns in it to stay out of the wind. Ride all weekend on a never-ending stretch of river with private lake like conditions. WaterStreet Bar & Grill is located in Evansville, IL right on top of the Kaskaskia River.

Story Behind Kyle Fest:
Five years ago Kyle and a few others came up with an idea of how to host a great watersports event with few sponsors and pure fun. Others around Extreme Power Sports were skeptical and made fun of Kyle for having the event by nicknaming it Kyle Fest (proof at the end of the 2005 Kyle Fest video). They said that no one would show up. The event was originally named WaterStreet FreeRide. It was a huge hit and tons of people showed up for the weekend. Attendees heard it being called Kyle Fest, thought it was hilarious, so the name stuck. The WaterStreet FreeRide name was dropped in 2008 due the fact no one knew what it was.
